Na Mu Myo Ho Ren Ge Kyo
Pray for Salvation of all Human Beings

If we are concerned only for our own safety and that of our own country, we have a false impression that maintenance of a defense force is imperative. In order to save humanity from extinction, we must realize that militarization and wars are ultimately the foe to humanity and must therefore be abolished. If we first pray for the tranquility of the world and for salvation of all human beings, within that prayer, personal security and our country’s security will be brought about as a result.
